4. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it where we need to in order to run the Website and our business. The organisations we share information with are:

4.1 Odoo

Our website and reservation system is provided by Odoo S.A. ("Odoo"). When you use the Website, your information is stored on Odoo's systems on our behalf. Odoo acts as a "data processor" — it can only use your information in line with our instructions and its own privacy and security obligations under UK GDPR. You can read Odoo's privacy policy at https://www.odoo.com/privacy.

4.2 Plausible Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics (provided by Plausible Insights OÜ) to gather anonymous, aggregate information about how visitors use the Website. Plausible does not collect personal data and does not use cookies. See section 10 for more detail.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it. Specifically:

•       Reservation data: kept for 12 months after the reservation is completed or cancelled, then deleted or anonymised.

•       Contact form messages: kept for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable follow-up period - usually no longer than 12 months.

•       Newsletter sign-ups: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details.

•       Records we are legally required to keep: kept for the period required by law (typically six years for tax and accounting records).

8. How we protect your information

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against accidental loss, unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. These include access controls, secure systems provided by reputable suppliers (such as Odoo), and staff awareness of data protection responsibilities.

No system is entirely secure, so while we take protecting your data seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

9. Cookies and analytics

9.1 Essential cookies

The Website uses a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function — for example, to remember items in your reservation basket, to keep the site secure, and to remember your preferences during a visit. These cookies do not track you across other websites and do not require your consent under data protection law.

9.2 Privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible)

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website so that we can improve it. Plausible is a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect any personal data.

Plausible only collects aggregate, anonymous information such as the pages visited, the country a visit came from, the type of device used, and the website that referred you. It does not track you across other websites, does not build a profile of you, and does not share data with advertisers. Because no personal data is collected and no cookies are used, this analytics does not require your consent.

You can read more about how Plausible handles data at https://plausible.io/privacy-focused-web-analytics and https://plausible.io/data-policy.

9.3 Marketing and advertising

We do not use cookies or similar technologies for advertising, retargeting, or third-party marketing. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are placed on your device.

10. Children

The Website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on the Website with the "Last updated" date shown at the top. If we make significant changes, we will tell you directly where appropriate (for example, by email if you are on our newsletter list).
